Daisy Ramos-Winfield
Daisy Ramos is the President and CEO of the Florida Export Finance Corporation (FEFC). FEFC was created by the State of Florida in 1993 as a not-for-profit corporation with the mandate to expand employment and income opportunities to Florida residents by increased exports of goods and services resulting from assistance given by the FEFC to Florida companies. She has over 25 years of diversified experience in banking and trade finance and managing portfolios of domestic and international companies and institutions with annual revenues up to $25MM. She later expanded her knowledge within her position to include, write and execute credit policies and Risk Management compliance. Mrs. Ramos has acted as a consultant to both the U.S. and foreign companies within the trade finance spectrum. Her trade experience with both large and small companies and in both the public and private sectors has given her an extensively diverse background and proved to be a valuable asset to the FEFC with its primary purpose of financial support for Florida small and medium sized exporters. Daisy successfully completed the Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship Nonprofit Executive Program at Florida State University College of Business in 2017.
Under her leadership, FEFC received the awards as 2017 and 2021 EXIM Bank REPP of the year. Her continuous support and willingness to assist the small and medium-sized exporters achieve success has been the driving force that has contributed to her great accomplishments. Daisy is the recipient of the 2018 Statewide Export Advocate of the Year Award (issued by The U.S. Department of Commerce - Minority Business Development Agency (Export Center Florida) and the 2018 BEAMS Business Academy (Spring 2019) Partner and Trainer Award (issued by the City of Fort Lauderdale (Business Engagement Assistance & Mentorships Unit). In 2020, she became Member of the Board of Directors of the World Trade Center- Miami. In 2022, Daisy was appointed to the 2022-2023 EXIM Bank Council on Small Business. In 2023, she was re-appointed to the 2023-2024 EXIM Bank Council. Daisy became the recipient of the 2024 International Women’s Achievement Award by the World Trade Center Miami.

Daniel Cardona is the Vice President of Florida Export Finance Corporation (FEFC). FEFC was created by the State of Florida in 1993 as a not-for-profit corporation with the mandate to expand employment and income opportunities to Florida residents by increased exports of goods and services resulting from assistance given by the FEFC to Florida companies. Additionally, FEFC is a participant of the Regional Export Promotion Program (REPP) of the Export-Import Bank of the United States (EX-IM Bank) and offers Florida exporters access to export assistance programs offered by EX-IM Bank and SBA. Services include packaging for EX-IM Bank and SBA export working capital guarantees, and other loan, insurance and guarantee programs offered by these U.S. Government agencies. Daniel has fostered strategic relationships with federal, state, and local partners with its primary purpose is supporting the small and medium sized exporters. He has been featured in panel discussions, educational workshops, and webinars pertaining to financing options for exports, U.S. Federal Government Loan Guarantee Programs. He has over 25 years of experience in banking, management, finance, relationship management domestic and international, and portfolio management of companies with annual revenues up to $5MM. He is a knowledgeable leader, customer advocate, and partner who understands business strategies and applies organizational, and proven customer success methodology to lead businesses to outcome. Recognized as a resourceful and accomplished professional, Daniel has driven business growth in the portfolio, deposits, business development, and account acquisition. He offers a unique combination of sales ability, financial/analytical skills, and a positive, optimistic entrepreneurial spirit. Daniel earned his Master in Business Administration in Global Business Management at the University of Phoenix in 2015.
